Discount coupons are a powerful tool to include in your automated messages. They encourage customers to convert faster and provide valuable insights into your campaign's effectiveness.
How to Set Up Discount Coupons
Discount coupons are optional in your automations. During an automation campaign's setup, you can include or exclude a discount coupon submission.
Including a Coupon: If you choose to include a coupon, we will generate a daily coupon code in your connected e-commerce store. This code will be sent to customers who join the automation, allowing you to track order attribution.
Skipping a Coupon: If you opt to skip the coupon, no coupon code will be submitted to your store. You can include a coupon later if needed.
Adding a Coupon Code After Launching the Automation
You can add discount coupons to your automations at any time:
Edit Your Automation: Go to your automation settings and click on the coupon button at the top left corner.
Set Up Your Coupon: You can create a new coupon or use a suggested one. Save your changes and publish your edits.
⚡ Warning
Ensure the coupon code custom field is included in your template message. If it is missing, you will see a warning.
Once published, the coupon will be sent to customers who join the automation from that point forward.
Disabling Coupon Submission After Launching the Automation
You can disable coupon submissions even after the automation has been launched:
Edit Your Automation: Go to your automation settings and click on the coupon code button.
Disable the Coupon: Click disable and then publish your edits. No new coupon codes will be sent to customers, and we will stop submitting new coupons to your store the next day.
⚡ Warning
Remove the coupon code custom field from your automation message to avoid sending a fallback value.
By managing discount coupons effectively, you can enhance the impact of your automated campaigns and gain better insights into customer behavior.
