How to link your WhatsApp number to the platform?
Linking the app via computer/ QR code
1. Sign up for the BusinessChat free plan with your email and password.
2. Scan the QR code on the app page to link your WhatsApp number.
3. Once connected, you'll see a connected chip in the top right corner.
Connecting the app using your phone number
If you are using your mobile phone to install the app, follow these steps:
Install the app from the Salla, ZID, or Shopify app store.
Grant access permissions to the platform.
Wait for the connection to be established with your store's platform.
Enter your phone number.
Copy the code that appears on the screen.
Open the WhatsApp Business app on your phone.
Tap on Settings (iPhone) or the Main Menu (Android).
Click "Link Device" and select "Link via Phone Number."
Paste the code you previously copied into the designated field.
Your app is now linked to your phone number, and the status of the number on the Business Chat platform will update.
To Change or Disconnect the Number:
In the WhatsApp app, go to Devices, then disconnect the connected device. Wait a moment, refresh the app page, and then scan the QR code again with your new number.
Your account's personal data will not be deleted when disconnecting or changing the connected number.
