Manage, Test, and Change WhatsApp Numbers

Effective communication relies on managing WhatsApp numbers efficiently. When using the BusinessChat platform with the WhatsApp channel to send messages, it is important to know how to:

Checking Number Status

Ensuring your WhatsApp Business number is connected is vital for seamless communication. To check if your WhatsApp number is connected, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Check Number Status button to initiate the number status check process.

  2. The platform will quickly verify the status of your WhatsApp number, indicating either Number Connected in green or Number Disconnected in red.

Sending a Test Message

To ensure your messages reach your customers effectively and without errors, follow these steps to send a test message:

  1. Click on the Send a Test Message button.

  2. Enter the WhatsApp number to receive the test message.

  3. Type your message.

  4. Click Send.

  5. Wait a few moments for the test message to be delivered to that WhatsApp number.

Changing WhatsApp Number

With the Change Number option, you can quickly switch your connected number within BusinessChat platform by following these steps:

  1. Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner of the BusinessChat platform.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select Change Number.

  3. Confirm your action by clicking "Change Number" again.

  4. Scan the QR code with the new WhatsApp number.

Disconnecting a WhatsApp Number

If you need to disconnect a WhatsApp number from your BusinessChat account, follow these steps:

  1. Open WhatsApp Business.

  2. Go to Settings > Linked Devices.

  3. Select the device to Remove.

  4. Tap to Remove.

  5. Confirm.
