The BusinessChat pixel powers popups and browse abandonment tracking.
On Salla and Zid stores, the pixel is enabled by default once the Welcome Series is live—no extra setup required.
On Shopify, you need to manually enable it.
This guide will walk you through the steps to enable the BusinessChat popup inside your Shopify store.
Steps to Enable the BusinessChat Pixel
Access the Online Store
From your Shopify homepage, go to the left-hand menu. Under Sales Channels, click Online Store.
Customize Your Theme
After selecting Online Store, you’ll be redirected to the Online Store dashboard.
In the upper-right corner, click Customize to open the theme editor.
Open App Embeds
Inside the theme editor, navigate to the App embeds icon (usually in the left-hand menu).
Click it to open the App embeds section.
Turn On the BusinessChat Popup
In the App embeds section, locate the toggle for BusinessChat popup.
Switch it On to activate the popup for your store visitors.
💡 Tip
Once enabled, your popups will start displaying, and BusinessChat will track browse abandonment events automatically.
