The personal number linked to your BusinessChat account is used to deliver important account notifications (for example: campaign status updates and account-recovery confirmations).
Why do we ask for your WhatsApp number?
To deliver real-time, account-related notifications directly to you.
To ensure notifications reach the correct person.
To verify account ownership and support account recovery when needed.
Update steps
Click your profile avatar → Settings.
Open Profile.
In the WhatsApp number, enter your number in international format (e.g.
+9665XXXXXXXX).
Click Update number.
Receive the verification code on WhatsApp.
Enter the code → click Confirm code. Done.
If the verification code doesn't arrive
Tap Resend code (if available).
Check your phone’s internet connection and make sure WhatsApp is working.
Restart WhatsApp or your phone and try again.
