You can create Shopify coupons in the BusinessChat platform in two ways:
1. Suggested Coupons
To simplify the setup, you can choose from our pre-designed coupon options:
1. 80 SAR OFF:
Type: Fixed Amount.
Amount: SAR 80.
Minimum purchase amount: SAR 200.
2. 20% OFF.
Type: a percentage of the total amount.
Amount: 20% off the entire order amount.
Minimum purchase amount: SAR 200.
3. Free Shipping.
Type: Free shipping.
Amount: exclude shipping fees (free shipping).
Minimum purchase amount: no minimum purchase is set.
2. Building Custom Coupons
For more flexibility, you can configure a coupon to match your specific needs:
Code Prefix
An automatic coupon code will be generated for each customer.
Coupon Code
An automatic coupon code will be generated for each customer. Ex:
02JUL23WDJKCCoupon Types
Fixed amount.
A percentage of the total amount.
Free shipping.
Discount Amount
The amount of discount your customers will get by applying the coupon.
Minimum purchase amount
The minimum total value of the items in the shopping cart must be met to be eligible to apply the coupon.
How will the coupon be created on Shopify?
BusinessChat has an automated process to generate coupons on Shopify for your contacts. Here's how it works:
Prefix: Prefix entered in BusinessChat platform + six random autogenerated characters.
Ex:KAR3WDJKC.
Coupon code: We automatically generate a unique coupon code for each customer that starts automation.
Coupon Distribution: Each contact that starts an automation will receive a unique coupon.
Usage limit overall: The number of times the coupon can be used. Set to 1 per contact.
Usage limit per user: The number of times the user can use the coupon. Set to 1.
Expiry date: The time in which the coupon will expire. We don't set an expiry date.
⚡️ Attention
If it differs, we will update your BusinessChat account currency to match the installed ecommerce store currency.
If you edited your automation and used a new coupon:
New contacts that join the automation after the edit will get the new coupon
Existing contacts who joined before the edit will use the old coupon
