How to cancel the BusinessChat subscription?
If you no longer Businesschat services and need to cancel your BusinessChat subscription, then you have to cancel the subscription from your BusinessChat account, and then disconnect your WhatsApp number directly from the Facbook Business Manager account.
Cancel your BusinessChat subscription
To cancel your BusinessChat subscription, follow these steps:
Log in to your BusinessChat account via this link: https://platform.businesschat.io/login
Click on your profile icon, then click on Manage subscription.
Click on the box with your plan details.
Click Cancel Subscription.
Write a reson for wanting to cancel your subscription, then click Confirm Cancellation.
⚡Attention
Cancelation will take effect at the end of your current subscription period. You can continue to access & use the platform as usual until that date.
2. Disconnect your WhatsApp number from Facebook Business Manager
After cancelling your BusinessChat subscription, you need to disconnect your WhatsApp number from your Facebook Business Manager directly from your Facebook Business Manager| Meta account, especially in case you want to use the number in a WhatsApp Business account. Follow these steps:
Log in to your Facebook Business Manager via this link: https://business.facebook.com/
Click on WhatsApp Accounts
Choose WhatsApp Manager
Click on the Delete icon
Confirm deletion by clicking Next from the popup
The next popup will prompt you to Enter your Facebook account password and a reason for deletion. Input those details and click "Delete"
Refresh the page and you will see that the deletion is in progress. It might take a few minutes to complete.
Important note: If you wanna use your WhatsApp number with a different WhatsApp API provider, then do not delete, instead ask your new provider to perform a migration process so that you can preserve your templates and potentially your tier limit.
