WhatsApp Consumption Reports

Get to know your WhatsApp monthly consumption.

You can track the number of messages initiated by you to contact your customers, as well as the conversations opened by your customers with your store, through the consumption reports on your BusinessChat account.

WhatsApp Message Consumption Report

To view the number of messages sent by you (Marketing and Utility) or the messages sent by your customers to contact your store, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your BusinessChat account.

  2. Click on the Reports icon on the main page.

  3. Choose "Consumption Reports."

  4. Set the Time Filter.

  5. Select the Message Category you want to track, or choose "All Categories" to view the total number of all messages on your account.

  6. Review the following data: Number of messages by category (Marketing, Service, Authentication, and Utility) within the specified time period.

Messages by Category:

The consumption report on BusinessChat displays the following types of messages:

  • Marketing: Marketing messages sent to your customers, whether through bulk marketing campaigns or marketing automations.

  • Service: User-initiated messages started by your customers.

  • Utility: Notification messages such as Cash on Delivery (COD) confirmation automations or Order Status updates.

  • Authentication: Verification messages, such as password reset codes.

Note: The WhatsApp message consumption report on BusinessChat mirrors the consumption report found in your Facebook Business Manager account.

Checking WhatsApp Message Counts via Facebook Business Manager

To view your WhatsApp message report directly from Facebook Business Manager, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Facebook Business Manager account via this link: https://business.facebook.com/latest/whatsapp_manager/overview/

  2. Navigate to the WhatsApp Accounts option in the side menu.

  3. Click on WhatsApp Manager at the bottom of the page.

  4. Click on Insights (Settings/Analytics icon) and select the time period you wish to review.

  5. You can view the number of conversations by type: Service (Customer Service) or Marketing.

Checking AI Chatbot Consumption

If you have activated the BusinessChat AI-powered Chatbot on your account, you can track its consumption through the platform's reports. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your BusinessChat account.

  2. Click on the Reports icon on the home page.

  3. Select Consumption Reports.

  4. Set your desired Time Filter.

  5. View your chatbot usage measured in Tokens.
