Access your website’s code editor:
1. After you log in to your Expand Cart account, go to Settings
2. click on Custom code
Integrate Google Tag Manager with your website:
1. Click the container ID to get Google Tag Manager’s the installation code.
2. Copy the head code and go back to your website’s Custom code setting and paste it into the Header scripts section. Afterward, copy the body code and paste it into the Body scripts section of your website. And then click Save.
Add the widget to your website:
1. Go to your email, find your email from BusinessChat and Copy the widget’s installation code.
2. Then go back to Google Tag Manager and click on Tags and then New.
3. Click on Tag Configuration and select Custom HTML from the menu on the side.
4. Add a name to your tag, paste the widget's installation code in the HTML section, choose All Pages in the Triggering section, then click Save.
💡Tip:
Test the changes before submitting them
Make sure to preview the tags you added by clicking the Preview button and then adding your website’s URL to see if your widget is functioning correctly and to avoid any mishaps.
5. To make your widget live, click on Submit from the top left.
6. Add a Version Name and then click on Publish. 🥳🎉
Congratulations 🥳! Your WhatsApp widget is live on your ExpandCart website.
